In December 2022 Singaraja City recorded inflation as high as 0.59 percent with a Consumer Price Index (base year 2018=100) of 113.77. The December 2022 calendar year inflation rate is as high as 4.63 percent, the same as the year-on-year inflation rate (December 2022 against December 2021 or YoY) recorded as high as 4.63 percent
Eight expenditure groups recorded inflation (m to m), namely group I (food, beverages and tobacco) as high as 1.44 percent; group XI (personal care and other services) as high as 0.79 percent; group VIII (recreation, sports and culture) as high as 0.40 percent; group IV (equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance) as high as 0.37 percent; group II (clothing and footwear) as high as 0.11 percent; group VII (information, communication and financial services) as high as 0.06 percent; group V (health) as high as 0.02 percent; and group VI (transportation) as high as 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, three other expenditure groups experienced no changes in index or stagnant, namely group III (housing, water, electricity, and household fuel); group IX (education); and group X (providing food and beverages/restaurants).
Of the 90 cities observed for national inflation, all cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation was recorded in the City of Bandung (West Java) as high as 2.04 percent, while the lowest inflation was recorded in the City of Sorong (West Papua) as high as 0.01 percent. If sorted from the highest inflation, Singaraja ranks 51st out of 90 cities experiencing inflation.
