Abstract

In April 2019, the number of international air transport planes departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport was recorded at 2,947 flights. This figure was recorded to have increased compared to the condition of the previous month (m to m) which reached 2,888 flight units, or increased by 2.04 percent. The same condition occurred in the departure of the number of passengers on international flights which recorded an increase of 4.78 percent (m to m), which was from 513,958 people in March 2019 to 538,531 people in April 2019. Whereas the departure of baggage and international air freight items decreased when compared to the previous month (m to m) of -5.36 percent, which was from 11.17 million tons to 10.57 million tons.

The departure of domestic air transport aircraft from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in April 2019 was recorded at 3,327 flights, up 3.45 percent compared to the previous month (m to m) which reached 3,216 flights. Of the ten main destination areas for domestic departures, the highest percentage increase was recorded in Yogyakarta's domestic air transport flights which reached 13.10 percent. While the number of aircraft departures for the destinations of Jakarta / Halim Perdana Kusuma and Solo decreased respectively as deep as -13.39 percent and -7.78 percent.

The number of sea transportation departing from a number of ports in Bali Province in April 2019 was recorded at 4,515 ships. When compared with March 2019 (m to m), there was a decline in the number of ships reaching -7.86 percent, which reached 4,900 units the previous month. The number of sea transport passengers departing through several ports in Bali Province in April 2019 was recorded at 261,823 people. This number shows a decrease of -4.30 percent compared to the previous month's condition (m to m) which was recorded at 273,578 people.
