In October 2016 the city of Singaraja deflation of 0.32 percent, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) amounted to 133.21. The inflation rate in October 2016 calendar year amounted to 3.10 percent, and the inflation rate year-on-year (October 2016 to October 2015) amounted to 5.02 percent. Deflation is characterized by a decrease in the index occurred in groups of foodstuffs -1.42 percent; education, recreation and sport -0.44 percent; food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco -0.10 percent.
