SUPPORT OF BULELENG SETDA TOWARDS THE UTILIZATION OF SP2020 RESULT DATA

October 5, 2020 | BPS Activities

Monday, 5 October 2020 - The Head of BPS Buleleng Regency along with his staff held an audience at the Buleleng Regional Secretary (Setda) office. This visit is intended to maintain the synergy between BPS Buleleng Regency and the Regional Government, especially regarding the implementation of the 2020 Population Census. The SP2020 series which begins with the SP-Online (February-May) and is followed up with a door-to-door Population List Check and Verification. September has ended. The SP2020 data has certainly been awaited by many parties, both from the government, academics, and the Indonesian people.

In this meeting, the Buleleng Regional Secretariat hopes that the results of the Population Census can validate the population data from the Dukcapil so that the factual population distribution data in Buleleng Regency can be known. Furthermore, he hopes that the census can be carried out every year with alternatives such as SP-Online so that data validation does not take too long to wait up to 10 years. The accuracy of the SP2020 results is an important concern because it will form the basis of government policies at both the national and regional levels.

Thank you to all Buleleng residents who have been willing to support the implementation of the 2020 Population Census. Your support helped us #MencatataIndonesia and your answers determine Indonesia's future.
